The Science Activation Program involves Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)* working on NASA science with learners of all ages in various learning environments. SMEs collaborate within Science Activation teams to share their expertise and experiences both in community events and behind the scenes. SMEs mentor learners, provide input on learning materials, present at workshops, and more! This map showcases the distribution of experts across NASA science disciplines, including early career scientists who are learning more about opportunities to engage learners of all ages in learning and educational outreach. If you are interested in working with a Subject Matter Expert, submit your request well in advance through the Science Activation Hotline.
